Kentucky basketball could have interest in in-state recruit after decommitment

Kentucky basketball could have interest in in-state product Trent Noah.

Kentucky basketball will have the state’s top high school player in guard Travis Perry. He should get minutes early on and has the skillset to grow into a very good player. Now, the number two player in the state, Trent Noah, could be an option as well.

Noah is a 6’6″, 200 lb small forward in the 2024 class. He’s rated four stars by 247sports and is just outside the top 100 overall. Like Perry, he’s a good three-point shooter, and he plays with good instincts.

Originally, Noah committed to South Carolina, and signed his National Letter of Intent in November. However, he recently asked out of the NLI with this statement:

I will be reopening my recruitment with hopes of pursuing basketball opportunities closer to home.

Whether or not Wildcats coach Mark Pope plans on recruiting him isn’t known yet, but Big Blue Nation would certainly love to have two in-state heroes to root for this fall.
