The Kentucky Wildcats (4-0, 1-0 SEC) take on the Ole Miss Rebels (4-0, 0-0) at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Saturday. Kickoff is at noon ET (ESPN). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook‘s lines around the Kentucky vs. Ole Miss odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.
The Wildcats cruised through their first 3 games of the season, winning each by at least 10 points before escaping with a 31-23 victory over Northern Illinois in Week 4. QB Will Levis has led the way for Kentucky as he’s thrown for 1,185 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The Rebels also won each of their first 3 games by double-digits before defeating Tulsa by just 8 points in Week 4. Ole Miss has leaned on its ground game with its backfield duo of RB Quinshon Judkins and RB Zach Evans combining for 794 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns.

Kentucky at Ole Miss picks and predictions
Prediction
Kentucky 31, Ole Miss 27
Money line
This should be an exciting game between 2 high-ranked SEC programs, but the Wildcats will be getting reinforcements to their running game with RB Chris Rodriguez set to make his season debut. Rodriguez rushed for a team-high 1,379 yards and had 12 total touchdowns in 2021.
Give me KENTUCKY (+220) on the road in an upset win over Ole Miss.
Against the spread
Considering that I believe that the Wildcats can win this game outright, it only makes sense I take KENTUCKY +7.5 (-125) as they should keep the game close. We only need the Wildcats to keep the game within a touchdown, and they’ve gone 3-1 ATS to begin the season.
Kentucky is 4-0-1 ATS in its last 5 road games against a team with a winning record and 5-1-1 ATS in its last 7 games overall.
Over/Under
All signs point to taking the Under in this game, however, both offenses are capable of scoring points at a solid rate. Kentucky should have a well-balanced attack with Rodriguez back in the fold while Ole Miss shouldn’t have much trouble running the ball.
OVER 53.5 (-110) is where I’m leaning with the Wildcats and the Rebels each scoring 30-plus points in 3 of their first 4 games of the season. These teams combined for 71 points the last time they met.
