[autotag]Sam Hunt Racing[/autotag] announced on Monday afternoon that [autotag]Kaz Grala[/autotag] will not return to the No. 26 Xfinity car in 2024. Grala ended the season with two top-5 finishes, nine top-10 finishes, and a 19.1 average finishing position. The former driver of the No. 26 car represented Sam Hunt Racing’s first full-time competitor and finished 17th in the point standings.
The organization fielded two full-time entries during the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season and it would be surprising to see it any different next year. One logical option would be elevating Connor Mosack to a full-time position after running in 21 of the 33 races. If not, there are some other names that would make sense for Sam Hunt Racing.
Two Top-5 & Nine Top-10 finishes in 2023.
A record-breaking year for @KazGrala behind the wheel of our No. 26 GR Supra. Kaz, thank you for all you’ve done here at Sam Hunt Racing. We wish you the very best on your next venture.#SHR26 | #TeamToyota pic.twitter.com/428KorqccQ

Sage Karam wants to make his NASCAR dream come alive and a full-time opportunity in the No. 26 Xfinity car would be very solid. Karam would be a threat on road courses as he continues to learn how to drive on an oval track. Either way, Sam Hunt Racing should have some good options available as they represent Toyota’s second team in the Xfinity Series
