We all knew this was coming, right? This was almost certainly going to happen again. I mean, how many times have we been through this with Kanye?
It’s like clockwork. We get this whole monumental rollout from Kanye West for the latest album slated to come out, it gets a scheduled drop date and then, all of a sudden, it doesn’t drop. And then someone officially announces a delay.
That’s how it always goes with Kanye. That’s how it’s been for decades. That’s how it’s been for most of his albums.
And it’s officially happening again with ‘DONDA’ — the album named after his late mother, Donda West.
The album was slated to drop on Friday, July 23. But, of course, it’s delayed. It’ll reportedly drop in two weeks on August 6.

Kanye has a lengthy history of doing this. That’s no secret.
that will make DONDA 378 days late. So far Kanye albums have been 1,808 days late – 4.95 years. If it drops August 6? 4.99 years
