Mecole Hardman Jr. has been dynamic all season long for the explosive Kansas City Chiefs offense. Hardman, a former Georgia Bulldog, leads the NFL with 20.7 yards per reception. Hardman finished the season with 508 receiving yards on 25 receptions. He and Patrick Mahomes are a deadly combination, especially on deep passes.

Hardman is set to play in the Pro Bowl as a specialist. The rookie has bigger aspirations than that: he’s hoping to play in the Super Bowl. With the Chiefs locking up the AFC’s second seed and a first round bye, they have a considerable chance to represent the AFC.

Hardman set a rookie record earlier on Sunday. Now, he’s AFC Special Teams Player of the Week:

Hardman set the record on a rare 104 yard kickoff return touchdown. Hardman finished third in the NFL with 704 kickoff return yards. The rookie averaged over twenty-six yards per return. Hardman and the Chiefs are must watch football in the NFL Playoffs. There most likely Divisional round opponent: Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
