Justin Tucker nails field goal to lift Ravens over Bengals

Justin Tucker wins it for the Ravens as time runs out

Quite the tight battle as is to be expected between top teams in the AFC North on Sunday in Baltimore.

The Ravens had the ultimate weapons in the end — Lamar Jackson and Justin Tucker.

The dual-threat quarterback marched Baltimore into position for a game-winning field goal.

The most elite of kickers then took over from 43 yards, drilling the kick right down the middle to give Baltimore a 19-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Tucker has now hit 25 of 26 field goals in similar situations with games on the line.

Baltimore also avoided losing its sixth straight at home.

Earlier the Bengals had scored to tie the game and Evan McPherson came on to kick the PAT.

He made it interesting as the kick soared over the top of the upright and it was ruled good to give the Bengals a 17-16 lead … that didn’t hold up.

The Bengals are 2-3 and each of the losses in 2022 has come on field goals as time ran out.

Ouch.
