Justin Thomas has third best odds to win U.S. Open

Former Alabama golfer Justin Thomas has the third best odds to win the 2020 U.S. Open as he plays alongside tiger woods and Collin Morikawa.

Former Alabama golfer Justin Thomas will tee off at the U.S. Open tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 17 at 7:07 a.m. CT. He will be playing alongside a strong group that consists of Tiger Woods and Collin Morikawa.

Thomas, who attended the University of Alabama on 2012, 2013 where he won a National Championship in 2013 and was named the Haskins Award winner as the most outstanding collegiate golfer in the nation.

The former Crimson Tide golfer has found success in professional golf, winning the PGA Championship in 2017.

Now, as he looks to take over the US open at the Winged Foot West course in Mamaroneck, New York, Thomas will have to perform at his best, and oddsmakers believe he has what it takes.

His best result at a U.S. Open was in 2017 where he finished the tournament tied at No. 9.

BetMGM currently has Thomas with the third best odds to win the 2020 U.S. Open with +1400.

The only two ahead of him are Jon Rahm with +900 and Dustin Johnson at +800.
