The 2022 season had the Netflix documentary “Quarterback” following around Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes and Marcus Mariota. Netflix announced on Tuesday that a new documentary — “Receiver” — is coming from the same producers.
The documentary will feature Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson along with WR Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions, WR Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders and two members of the of the San Francisco 49ers: WR Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared the poster ads for the documentary, which will debut this summer, likely in July.
With Jefferson having been injured for half of last season, it will be really interesting to see how his rehab went. Overall, the Vikings season is a fascinating one and it will be really cool to see it from an outside perspective.
