Julio Jones’ Week 12 status considered a game-time decision

The Atlanta Falcons had won three of four games prior to Sunday’s sobering loss to the New Orleans Saints on the road. Wide receiver Julio Jones, who’s been dinged up with a deep-tissue hamstring injury, left the game in the first half after re-aggravating it.

On Monday, Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said the team would see how Jones progresses throughout the week. For now, Morris considers Jones’ Week 12 status to be a game-time decision, per Jason Butt of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Jones finished with two catches for 39 yards against the Saints, returning late in the game to make a big fourth-down reception before leaving on the very next play. Atlanta hopes to get the All-Pro receiver back after an underwhelming offensive performance by the team in Week 11.

For the season, Jones has 45 catches, 677 receiving yards and three touchdown receptions.
