The New England Patriots saw a significant influx of talent coming back to training camp practice, with receivers Julian Edelman, Devin Ross and Jeff Thomas, running back Sony Michel (PUP) and safety Adrian Phillips attending after missing time, according to reporters on the scene.
Safety Devin McCourty missed his first practice of camp. He was among the following Patriots not spotted at practice: running back Lamar Miller (PUP), receiver Will Hastings and defensive tackle Beau Allen.
Michel, it seems, is officially off the physically unable to perform list after missing the first eight sessions of training camp while recovering from foot surgery. Edelman, meanwhile, missed his second practice on Tuesday. Phillips has missed a lot of time during training camp on Wednesday, but should see a big workload if McCourty is out.
Though Devin Asiasi suffered an ankle injury late in practice and watched for the remainder of the session on Tuesday, he was back at work on Wednesday.
Patriots S Devin McCourty, RB Lamar Miller (PUP), WR Will Hastings and DT Beau Allen aren't spotted at the beginning of practice.
