JT Daniels, KJ Jefferson both game-time decisions

JT Daniels and kJ Jefferson are both facing injury and are both considered game-time decisisons.

It appears both starting quarterbacks are game-time decisions today when No. 2 Georgia takes on No. 8 Arkansas in Athens.

Kirby Smart mentioned that JT Daniels has been dealing with a lat injury, was limited this week and if he plays or not will be determined by how he feels during warmups.

“It will all depend on how JT does in warmups,” Smart said on ESPN GameDay. “He has been able to go some this week, (and) we’re hopeful he’s able to go, but we’ll see in warmups.”

As for Arkansas, it sounds like the Razorbacks are in a similar boat.

Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman discussed Jefferson on Saturday and said, well, pretty much the same thing about his quarterback as Smart said about his.

“I think we’ll find out a little bit more in the pregame, see how he’s doing,” Pittman told ESPN on Saturday. “He’s practiced for the most part, limited, this week.”

Jefferson’s injury stems from banging his knee in the second half of a win over Texas A&M last week. Jefferson received medical attention before returning to the field.
