Jrue Holiday records double-double in Celtics Game 2 win

Jrue Holiday notches a double-double.

Jrue Holiday was really good once again for the Boston Celtics in Game 2. After his fantastic performance in Game 1, Holiday backed it up with a double-double in Game 2.

Holiday went 6-for-7 from the field, and scored 15 points in the game. Holiday played 36 points and also dished out 10 assists for the Celtics.

Holiday, along with Kyle Anderson of the Minnesota Timberwolves are the only two UCLA Bruins Basketball alumni left in the NBA postseason.

Boston won the game by a final score of 126-110 over the Indiana Pacers. The win pushed the Celtics to two wins away from heading to the NBA Finals.

Back in September, when the Pacers were still trying to put their team together and Holiday was traded from Milwaukee in the Damian Lillard deal, there were rumors they could trade for him.

Hoops Hype had a piece that Holiday would be a good fit for the Pacers and the Knicks. Ironically, those were two of the other Final Four teams in the Eastern Conference.

Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals is set for Saturday in Indianapolis. The Pacers head into that game 6-0 in the postseason at home.
