Good outing by Jrue.

The United States Men’s Basketball team played their first exhibition game on Monday and came away with a six-point win over Australia. It was not pretty for the United States team, but winning om Abu Dbahi as part of the USA Basketball showcase was done.

Jrue Holiday, former UCLA Bruins guard, and two-time NBA Champion logged 18 minutes in the game. He was part of five guys off the bench, who all logged 18 minutes.

Holdaiy was 1 for 2 from the field and 1 for 3 from downtown, for 5 points. Holiday also dished out 4 assists in the game. Anthony Edwards led the starters with 14 points, while Anthony Davis came off the bench with 17. Devin Booker also added 16 in the win.

Team USA will next play against Serbia on Wednesday. This game will also be played in Abu Dhabi as part of the USA Basketball showcase.
