It has been well documented the effect Jrue Holiday has had on the 2023-2024 Boston Celtics. Holiday has been nothing short of terrific for Boston. The Celtics enter Wednesday two wins away from being NBA Champions. So far in the postseason, Boston has won 14 out of 16 games. The Celtics have won 8 postseason games in a row.
The stat that came out had Holiday second on a list only to Michael Jordan. The stat showed the most points through 2 games of an NBA Finals series without committing a turnover. Jordan is first with 70, while Holiday has taken over the second spot, with 38. Jordan’s season was in 1998.
Not only had Holiday scored 38 points with no turnovers, but also has 19 rebounds and 8 assists through the first two games. In the sweep over Indiana, he averaged just 2.25 turnovers per game, while scoring 18.5 points per game.
