[autotag]Brandon Jones[/autotag] said it himself a few weeks ago but [autotag]JR Motorsports[/autotag] has made it official. The organization announced on Friday morning that Jones will return to the No. 9 car in the NASCAR Xfinity Series next season. It will be the former Joe Gibbs Racing driver’s second full-time season in the No. 9 car after replacing Noah Gragson.
Jones failed to make the 2023 Xfinity Series playoffs but did end the regular season on a high note with a second-place finish at Kansas Speedway. He moved over from Joe Gibbs Racing following the 2022 season where he was in place to make the Championship 4 if not for a shocking incident with former teammate Ty Gibbs on the final lap.

The 2024 season will represent Jones’ ninth full-time season in the Xfinity Series. The 26-year-old driver has five wins in his Xfinity career with three of them coming in 2020. Now, Jones will look to close out the year on a high note as he tries to improve with his new race team in a second full-time season.
