ORLANDO — After getting off to a slow start, Josh Richardson has recaptured his scoring touch for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Richardson, a former University of Tennessee star, scored 15 points to help the 76ers defeat the Washington Wizards, 107-98, Wednesday afternoon at Orlando’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Arena.

Richardson, who played 35 minutes against the Wizards was 5-for-9 from the floor and also dished out three assists for the Sixers, who opened a 26-20 lead by the end of the first quarter and extended their advantage to 54-47 by halftime.

Richardson has appeared in all three games since Philadelphia resumed the 2019-20 campaign in the Central Florida bubble. He is averaging 10.8 points per game since the season resumed.
