Josh Allen sacked Josh Allen to make some really weird NFL history

What a time to be alive!

If you’re a fan of really weird NFL history then you will love what happened in Jacksonville on Sunday.

You see, Josh Allen sacked Josh Allen before halftime in what was a first since the NFL started counting sacks in 1982.

I know what you’re thinking right now – how could Josh Allen sack Josh Allen? Well. that’s easy to explain – Jaguars linebacker Josh Allen (who was the 7th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft) was able to fight through Buffalo’s offensive line and send Bills QB Josh Allen to the turf.

This was the first time a player has sacked a QB who has the same name. Wild, right?
