In a wild twist, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow might be the healthiest quarterback in a matchup for two weeks in a row.
While Burrow looks 100 percent after his Player of the Week showing in the beatdown of the 49ers, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen missed practice on Wednesday.
Allen is battling a shoulder injury, though he’s still expected to start and against the Buccaneers on October 26, he threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another.
Still, it’s clear he’s the one battling limitations and it’s leaving a mark for a Bills team that has gone 2-2 over its last four, the only wins coming against teams with losing records.
And in other topical Bengals-Bills news for obvious reasons, Bills coaches made a point to stress that Damar Hamlin’s availability for Sunday night’s game would hinge strictly on on-field and personnel decisions:
Sean McDermott says any decision to play Damar Hamlin in Cincinnati this week will be a football, not an emotional decision.
"We acknowledge, as a team, what unfolded there…We are so thankful, as a team, that Damar is in a good spot."
Hamlin has played only 3 games this year.
