Josh Allen joined exclusive crew with Ben Roethlisberger, Patrick Mahomes

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen joins exclusive group with Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen sits in a ring of quarterbacks that only includes two others in terms of postseason play. One we’ll see very soon, too.

According to NFL Research, Allen joined upcoming opponent Patrick Mahomes from 2019 and Ben Roethlisberger in 2005 as the only QBs under the age of 25 with multiple wins and a 100+ passer rating in a single postseason.

On Sunday, the Bills (13-3) face a big test in Mahomes and the Chiefs (14-2). Both teams are expected to put on an offensive shootout in the contest as their teams finished second and first in the total offense in the 2020 regular season, respectively.

But if there’s one thing on Allen’s side, it’s this. In 2019 and 2005 when Mahomes and Roethlisberger also pulled off this feat, they both went on to win the Super Bowl.
