The Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles had a ridiculous back-and-forth game in Week 12 which saw the home team take the victory.
The Eagles (10-1) edged out the Bills (6-6) in overtime, 37-34.
It was the first type of game of its kind in NFL history because of the quarterbacks involved.
In OT, Philadelphia’s Jalen Hurts rushed in the game-winning score. When doing so, he helped himself and Buffalo’s Josh Allen make NFL history.
Unfortunately for Allen, his team lost… which has become a common theme when he has incredible efforts.
But according to ESPN’s Field Yates, Hurts and Allen were the first opposing quarterbacks to ever throw and rush for multiple touchdowns in a single game.
Hurts was 18-for-31 passing with 200 yards. He tossed three touchdowns and ran in two. Allen had two each, but was 29-for-51 in the air.
On Sunday, Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen became the first opposing quarterbacks in NFL history to have multiple passing TD and multiple rushing TD in the same game.
Hurts: 265 yards of total offense, 5 total TD
Allen: 420 total yards of offense, 4 total TD
