A top-rated guard? Out of North Carolina? Who gets drafted by the Chicago Bulls? While those credentials bring a type of legendary hype not draped on any of the other rookies, White seems to have the inner-confidence not to let that overshadow his progressions. And, oh yeah, his talent level is remarkable. Forget Air Jordan. White has already set two rookie records—off the bench, mind you. His seven three-pointers in a quarter last week broke the Bulls’ record, and his 13 total in two games broke the NBA record.
