Jordan-Shaq factor: Early grades for the top 15 picks in 2019 draft

While keeping the Jordan-Shaq Factor in mind, we have made some early grades for the first 15 players selected in the 2019 NBA Draft.

10th pick: Cam Reddish

The third Duke player taken in the first 10 picks, Reddish had some grayish area surrounding his ability. Playing behind Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett, he didn’t exactly clean up or cause headaches for the opponent’s defensive strategy in college, so going 10th to the Hawks wasn’t graded as a no-brainer. And some of that iffiness has continued during the young season. Reddish, though missing needed time this summer with an injury, has struggled on offense. He’s hovering around 25% from the floor, averaging under six points a game. More eye-opening, though: he has more turnovers than assists.
