8th pick: Jaxson Hayes
The big center out of Texas has been third on the depth chart for the Pelicans so far. However, injury issues with Jahlil Okafor and Derrick Favors have provided Hayes more opportunity. And he has done a decent job, averaging just under 7.5 points per game in about 15 minutes of court time. The lengthy center still has a lot of maturing to do, including working to improve his rebounding skills.
