Jordan-Shaq factor: Early grades for the top 15 picks in 2019 draft

While keeping the Jordan-Shaq Factor in mind, we have made some early grades for the first 15 players selected in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Showing that not being a one-and-done doesn’t necessarily equate to not top-level impact in the NBA, Washington has been a strong asset for the Hornets. The forward has averaged over 10 points in all but three games so far this season, dropping just over 13 points per game. His range—including from behind the 3-point line—is unique given his size and he is fitting nicely as a stretch-four. As this rookie class goes, Washington might be the biggest surprise (so far).

Early Grade: A+

Sekou Doumbouya :: Romeo Langford :: Tyler Herro :: P.J. Washington :: Cam Johnson :: Cam Reddish :: Rui Hachimura :: Jaxson Hayes :: Coby White :: Jarrett Culver :: Darius Garland :: De’Andre Hunter :: R.J. Barrett :: Ja Morant :: Zion Williamson
