The highly talented wing and No. 6 overall pick out of Texas Teach, Jarrett Culver, has played well so far for the Timberwolves. His ability on defense makes him a valued asset for coach Ryan Saunders, and a standout among the rookies. His shot-making, however, has been a work-in-progress lesson for both Culver and the fan base. If he can improve on offense, though—as you would expect him to do as he gains confidence—then Culver could be a huge factor down the stretch this season.

Early Grade: C+
