Former University of Tennessee basketball player Jordan Bone signed a two-way contract to play for the Orlando Magic just before the NBA season began.
He will be splitting time between Orlando and the Lakeland Magic, the team’s NBA G-League affiliate.
The G-League’s season has yet to begin and Bone has already seen action for the Magic this season.
Bone appeared for the Magic Friday night and played nine minutes in the Magic’s 116-92 loss to Philadelphia at the Amway Center.
Bone scored four points, pulled down one rebound and dished out an assist in his regular-season debut for the Magic.
He was selected in the second round of the 2019 NBA draft, going to the New Orleans Pelicans with the 57th overall selection. Bone was later traded to the Detroit Pistons where he was a two-way player, splitting time with the Pistons and the Grand Rapids Drive of the NBA G-League.
Last season, he played 10 games for the Pistons and averaged 1.2 points per game.
