Former Vol Jordan Beck records two hits in second game with Fresno.

Former Vol Jordan Beck was assigned to the Fresno Grizzlies in the California League.

Fresno is a Single-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

Beck started as the Grizzlies’ designated hitter Wednesday in Fresno’s 15-8 victory against the Modesto Nuts.

He went 2-for-5, recording one run.

The contest was Beck’s second with Fresno. The former Vol was assigned to the Grizzlies from ACL Rockies in the Arizona Complex League.

Beck was selected by Colorado (No. 38 overall) in the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.

Beck recorded 18 home runs, 61 RBIs, 70 runs, 75 hits, 15 doubles, three triples, 37 walks and six stolen bases in 66 games during the 2022 season at Tennessee.
