Former Vol Jordan Beck hits first home run with Fresno.

Former Vol Jordan Beck is playing with the Fresno Grizzlies in the California League.

Fresno is a Single-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

Fresno defeated Modesto, 11-6, Friday. The Grizzlies have won 15 of its last 16 contests.

Beck started in right field for Fresno. He went 1-for-2, recording one home run, two RBIs, two runs and three walks in the contest.

The home run is Beck’s first with Fresno. He was assigned to the Grizzles Aug. 30 from ACL Rockies in the Arizona Complex League.

Beck was selected by Colorado (No. 38 overall) in the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.

Beck recorded 18 home runs, 61 RBIs, 70 runs, 75 hits, 15 doubles, three triples, 37 walks and six stolen bases in 66 games during the 2022 season at Tennessee.
