Former Vol Jordan Beck assigned to Fresno and records two RBIs in first game.

Former Vol Jordan Beck has been assigned to the Fresno Grizzlies in the California League.

Fresno is a Single-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

Beck started in left field in his debut with Fresno Tuesday. He went 1-for-4, recording two RBIs in the Grizzlies 7-4 win against the Modesto Nuts.

The former Vol was assigned to the Grizzlies from ACL Rockies in the Arizona Complex League.

Beck was selected by Colorado (No. 38 overall) in the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.

Beck recorded 18 home runs, 61 RBIs, 70 runs, 75 hits, 15 doubles, three triples, 37 walks and six stolen bases in 66 games during the 2022 season at Tennessee.
