Jordan Addison to New York Giants in The Athletic mock draft

Jordan Addison drops to 25th and lands with the #Giants in Dane Brugler’s mock draft.

It’s mock draft season! One of the biggest question marks is the first round this year. There will be plenty of movement, and the wide receiver group is a total crapshoot.

USC Trojans receiver Jordan Addison could very well be the first WR taken off the board, but he could also be the third or fourth. In a full seven-round mock draft by Dane Brugler of The Athletic, Addison was selected by the New York Giants with the 25th overall pick.

“The Giants’ wide receiver situation is looking up thanks to the surprising play of Isaiah Hodgins, Wan’Dale Robinson’s returning from injury and now Parris Campbell’s addition. But in no way should that stop New York from continuing to add playmakers if it has a first-round grade on a receiver here,” Brugler wrote.

Addison to the Giants is an interesting spot, and he would join an offense that just re-signed Daniel Jones and acquired tight end Darren Waller.

In this mock draft, Addison was the third WR taken, with Ohio State’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba going at 12 and Zay Flowers going at 22.

The Giants have needed a true No. 1 wide receiver, and Addison would be able to step right in and become one of the main targets for Daniel Jones and company.
