More clues on what the Boston Celtics might do in free agency are starting to percolate through the NBA media sphere. New reporting from ESPN’s Mark Jones has the Celtics “showing strong interest in free agent Terence Davis” with the “Milwaukee Bucks also considering Davis as an option.”

Davis is another low-cost backcourt option on the growing list of rumored Boston targets. He joins Toronto Raptors reserve point guard Dalano Banton on that list. The rumor suggests bigger moves involving the Celtics’ backcourt are on the table in the hours or days to come.

As for the fit in Boston, the 6-foot-4 Kings shooting guard put up a solid 6.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and an assist per game with Sacramento last season. The 26-year-old shot a respectable 42.3% from the floor, 36.6% from deep and 79.1% from the stripe.
