[autotag]Johnny Sauter[/autotag] is returning to the NASCAR Truck Series. On Friday morning, [autotag]Niece Motorsports[/autotag] announced that Sauter will drive the No. 45 truck in the Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway. The 45-year-old driver hasn’t competed at Daytona since 2022 when he drove the No. 47 truck for G2G Racing.
No other races were announced for Sauter, but it represents a good opportunity for him to win another NASCAR race in his part-time career. Sauter hasn’t been full-time since the 2021 Truck Series season with ThorSport Racing and has competed in nine races over the last two seasons. None have come with Niece Motorsports.
The 45 guys.
Meet your new lineup of speed chasers piloting the No. 45 Chevrolet in 2024!

Sauter will join Bayley Currey and Matt Mills as his teammates at Niece Motorsports for the Truck Series race at Daytona. If Sauter does well at the superspeedway track, maybe he could return for another event sometime throughout the season. Either way, seeing Sauter behind the wheel for a competitive organization is good for race fans.
