Badgers sophomore guard Johnny Davis turned in an excellent two-way performance in a 66-60 victory over the visiting Minnesota Gophers on Sunday.
The La Crosse (Wisc.) native turned in a team-high 16 point, 15 rebound (career-high) performance in 37 minutes on an efficient 7-of-14 shooting from the floor.
This was the first 15 point, 15 rebound performance by a Wisconsin Badgers player since Ethan Happ posted a 22 point, 15 rebound performance against Virginia back in 2018.
Davis continues to show the nation that he’s able to lead the Badgers and effect the outcome of games in a multitude of ways. I’d argue that he’s the best rebounding guard that has ever passed through the program.
