Joey Chestnut says it ‘would be awesome’ to have eating contest with Tom Brady

The greatest competitive food eater, Joey Chestnut, would love to challenge Tom Brady.

Joey Chestnut knows what it takes to be the best in his respective lane.

The 38-year-old is known as the greatest competitive food eater and he’s preparing for the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on the 4th of July. Chestnut has the previous record of eating 76 hot dogs in ten minutes and he plans to beat it on Monday — he was also the previous record-holder at 75.

Ahead of the infamous event, Chestnut was asked about the idea of going head-to-head with Tom Brady in a food eating competition.

“I don’t know what he could out-eat me at,” Chestnut said to TMZ Sports. “He’s so healthy. You know he doesn’t eat tomatoes? I love tomatoes. He’s awesome. It would be awesome to eat against him in any food.”

Chestnut was asked about eating avocado ice cream and he isn’t a huge fan.

“I’ve had avocado ice cream. It’s not the best,” he said. “Better than other weird ice creams, like garlic ice cream.”

Brady, who’s an active user on social media, could very well respond to Chesnut’s challenge — he just likely won’t do it.
