The Philadelphia 76ers have a big matchup against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday and they will have their best player return after missing Saturday’s east 141-94 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Joel Embiid will return to the lineup after he missed a game due to a left hip contusion suffered in Thursday’s loss to the Washington Wizards. He will have a lot of motivation for Sunday after he went scoreless in the team’s first matchup with the Raptors on November 25 in Toronto so it is easy to see why he would want to return for this one.
Rookie Matisse Thybulle, on the other hand, is questionable for the matchup after he rolled his ankle in Saturday’s win over the Cavaliers.

Considering the two teams’ recent history with each other, this is one game that the Sixers will not take lightly. After losing in a tough 7 game series in the playoffs and then dropping the first game with the Raptors earlier in the season, this is one December game that Philadelphia will not treat as just a regular game.
Tipoff from the Wells Fargo Center is set for 6:00 p.m. EST. [lawrence-related id=20880,20863,20851]
