Joel Embiid to play for Sixers vs. Jazz, De’Anthony Melton will return

Joel Embiid is playing for the Philadelphia 76ers against the Utah Jazz and De’Anthony Melton returns to the floor.

The Philadelphia 76ers are getting set to finish up a back-to-back on Sunday when they play host to the Utah Jazz and they got some good news knowing that Joel Embiid would be in the lineup.

After the big fella played 40 minutes in a win on Saturday and he admitted that he can’t lift his arm, there was some concern that he wouldn’t play in this matchup. Instead, he is in the lineup for the Sixers.

Matisse Thybulle also draws another start in the lineup, but De’Anthony Melton will return to the floor for the Sixers after missing a game with back stiffness. He will come off the bench.

The Sixers will be looking to begin a winning streak after knocking off the Atlanta Hawks. The return of Melton is a big factor, but obviously having Embiid out there against this young Jazz team will be a big help to win this one.
