The Philadelphia 76ers will take on the New York Knicks at home on Friday looking to bounce back from a tough loss to the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. The Sixers will have to go to battle without James Harden who is currently out with a foot injury.
On top of that, they will also be missing Joel Embiid in the lineup so now they will be missing their two best players in this matchup.
This will now be three consecutive games that Embiid will miss due to the non-COVID illness. In his place, the Sixers will start Montrezl Harrell with De’Anthony Melton starting in place of Harden.
Sixers starters:
Harrell
Tucker
Harris
Melton
MaxeyEmbiid is out.

In other injury news, Danuel House Jr. is out for this one due to an illness and Matisse Thybulle will be available. He was questionable due to a right ankle sprain, but it looks like he is set to go.
Tipoff from the Wells Fargo Center is set for 7 p.m. EDT.
