It’s no secret Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is a great follow on social media.

It’s also not a big secret the star running back has missed a few Bengals training camp practices in a row, outright now showing up at all at two of them.

Mixon’s mystery injury appears to be migraine headaches and head coach Zac Taylor said Friday he doesn’t have any reason to believe the absences are contract related.

“No. Joe has been an honest guy with us and we’ve always had great communication with Joe,” Taylor said, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com.

But as a ton of fans and some media have pointed out, Mixon has again been pretty noteworthy on social media lately:

Something? Nothing? Hard to say, but Mixon’s due for a contract extension and the team has made it clear it would like to get it done. But a report in April also said the Bengals are ready for a holdout situation if it gets to that point.

Mixon has been nothing but a team player as usual this summer (the featured image above is literally him moving a camp dummy all by himself). Odds are this is nothing — but fans can always count on the star back to make things interesting.
