Joe Judge blew away the New York Giants brass in his interview on Monday. On Thursday, he blew away the media and the fans.
Judge took the podium at the Coaches’ Club at MetLife Stadium and simply laid down the law. He answered the questions of who he was, what he is about and what his vision is for the Giants with the utmost confidence and in rapid-fire fashion.
“What I’m about is an old-school, physical mentality. We’re going to put a product on the field that the region will be proud of,” said Judge. “I want this team to reflect this area. That’s blue-collar. That’s hard work”

Judge, of course, did not let the opportunity of mentioning that he is from both Nick Saban and Bill Belichick’s coaching tree pass him by.
“I worked for two great coaches. There wasn’t a day I didn’t come home with a full education,” he said.
When it comes to culture, Judge made no bones about it.
“The only culture is a winning culture,” he said.
The Giants’ new head coach is not only a Judge, but he appears to be jury and executioner as well. He is hellbent on teaching and getting everyone on the same page.
“Everyone in that locker room is going to get coached,” he said, reflecting on how as a special teams coordinator he was forced to learn the entire roster and their capabilities.
But it will be one step at a time for this Giants team as they have been losing for so long now, Judge may have to take turn them around kicking and screaming all the way.
Coach Judge: You don't build the Empire State Building by washing the windows. You start by building from the foundation up.
