After going down with an ankle injury against the Oklahoma City Thunder on November 14, Joe Harris was forced to miss six games up until this point to heal, but only small progress was made. Now, it has been released that Harris will be getting surgery on his left ankle because of a” little bone particle” and is expected to miss four to eight weeks per Adrian Wojnarowski.
The sharpshooter has averaged 11 PPG and 4 RPG on 47% shooting from three. Harris only trails fellow teammate, Patty Mills, in three-point accuracy across the association. Mills is shooting it at 50% from downtown on the season.
Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Harris is expected to miss four to eight weeks with ankle surgery, agent Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports tells ESPN. Surgery is addressing "a little bone particle" in ankle, Steve Nash said.
