In not so shocking news, Cincinnati Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow is the highest-rated rookie quarterback in the upcoming Madden 21 video game from EA Sports.
According to ESPN’s Ben Baby, Burrow will check in at a 76 overall. That’ll register higher than Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers and Tua Tagovaiola of the Miami Dolphins.
Burrow’s other ratings include an 86 for accuracy and throw power, to name a few.
No word on ratings for the entire Bengals draft class, though it’d be safe to assume second-round rookie wideout Tee Higgins will check in with a pretty strong rating, too.
Baby provided more info on the ratings release:
Bengals rookie QB Joe Burrow rated a 76 in Madden 21 — the highest of any of the rookie quarterbacks. Ratings will be released at 7 p.m. ET on July 17 on ESPN.
