Joe Burrow responds to question about LSU, Alabama national championship teams

The former LSU passer and Heisman Trophy winner responded to the question in perfect Joe Burrow fashion, exactly the way we expected him to.

It’s been a popular topic throughout social media since the national championship game Monday night — is 2019 LSU or 2020 Alabama the better football team?

There’s been a lot of debate, with people from both sides taking a good look into the quarterback and wide receiver aspect of it all.

Speaking of the former, current Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was asked in a recent press conference as to which team he thought was better.

The former LSU passer and Heisman Trophy winner responded to the question in perfect Joe Burrow fashion, exactly the way we expected him to.

“I think everyone knows the answer to that question,” he said. “Everyone knows what I’m gonna say, I don’t even have to say it.”

Take that as you will.

It’s hard to forget about the video-game offense LSU featured that season, as well as what Burrow mentally alone brought to the table as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game at this level.

Burrow was putting together a first NFL season with Rookie of the Year potential with the Bengals, but it was all cut short when Burrow suffered ACL and MCL tears against the Washington Football Team in November.

Burrow is “on pace” to return to the field in Week 1, and it will be interesting to see what the Bengals look like with him back in the saddle in 2021.
