Joe Burrow just keeps making little bits of history and reeling in honors.

This week, Burrow earned himself FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week honors thanks to his epic performance against the Cleveland Browns in which he threw for 406 yards and three touchdowns on 35 completions.

Burrow’s competition for the award was Tom Brady, as well as the man he competed against in that game, Baker Mayfield.

The big award comes on the heels of the performance making literal NFL history. And while watching the tape, former NFL quarterbacks like Hall of Famer Kurt Warner came away downright impressed with Burrow’s performance.

Of course, as Burrow told reporters after the game, he doesn’t care about the numbers because his team didn’t win. But it’s a nice feather in his cap regardless.

Burrow gets one more chance to put up some big numbers — in a win — with Week 8 against the Tennessee Titans on approach before his team takes a week off via a bye.
