J.J. Watt exclaims the Texans are finally having ‘fun’ after 30-14 win over the Jaguars

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt tweeted out that the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars was “fun,” following the 30-14 victory in Week 5.

The Houston Texans got their first win of the season as the defending AFC South champions vanquished the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-14 Sunday afternoon at NRG Stadium.

Defensive end J.J. Watt took to Twitter and expressed his joy that the 0-4 Texans were able to get their first victory of the season.

“FUN! Finally!!! #HTine,” Watt wrote.

The sentiment echoes what Texans chairman and CEO expressed in an interview with play-by-play voice Marc Vandermeer on Texans Radio earlier this week.

“I want to see the defense flying around,” McNair said. “I want to put the ‘Rock Boy’ band back together. I want them to play their songs. I want Justin Reid to take a pick back 99 yards. I want to see Deshaun [Watson] playing an air guitar and he’s got a great dance in the end zone my wife really likes to see. And these are things I want to get back to. I want to get back to having fun. I want the guys flying around. I want playing fundamental and that will lead to wins and get us to where we’re going to go.”

The Texans were able to get back to that and are now 1-4 on the season.
