Was there ever any doubt? Jimmy Graham surprised New Orleans Saints fans by re-signing with the team that gave him his start on Tuesday, and revealed that he’s going to be wearing the same jersey number he used before: No. 80. The number had been issued to undrafted wide receiver Shaquan Davis, but he’ll be using something else.
Graham addressed his return to Saints fans in a video from the team facility shared on social media: “Hey guys I’m back home. Incredible, incredible to be here back in this building with the guys. Can’t wait to see you at training camp, can’t wait to see you in the Superdome, looking forward to every second, every moment of it. Love you guys.”
So take those jerseys out of the closet and dust them off. It sure sounds like Graham is here to make the most of this opportunity.
