It was a tough night in the office for the Aggies on Saturday where they got beat 13-5 by the Stanford Cardinals. While Texas A&M did pull close in the bottom of the sixth inning, Stanford responded in a big way pounding the Aggies for seven runs to go up 13-5 late in the game. Then with A&M only being able to muster one hit over the final two innings wasn’t ideal on the way to their loss.
As Coach Schlossnagle said in the press conference, Texas A&M is still in the same position that they were in on Sunday night. They just need to win one more game to move on to the Super Regional. Below is what Coach Schloss and Brett Minnich had to say after the game.
