Jets Wednesday Week 9 injury report: Corey Davis misses again

Corey Davis remains out of practice and day-to-day. Might stay out until after the bye week at least.

The Jets are back on the practice field to begin preparing for the class of the AFC (and perhaps the entire league at the moment), the Buffalo Bills. And chances are they’ll still be without one of the top wide receivers.

Corey Davis remains day-to-day with a knee injury and did not practice Wednesday. The Jets may just end up playing it safe with Davis and sit him again this week with the bye week coming in Week 10.

Other than that, not too many other players on the report, though a couple of new names popped up Wednesday.

While Duane Brown made his usual appearance, the Jets added TE C.J. Uzomah (shoulder), OL Nate Herbig (hand) and S Lamarcus Joyner (hip) to the report Wednesday. All were limited.

For the Bills, five players were listed as out on Wednesday. They were RB Taiwan Jones (knee), LB Matt Milano (oblique), LB Von Miller (veteran rest day), S Jordan Poyer (elbow) and OG Rodger Saffold (veteran rest day).

Bills that were limited Friday: OT Spencer Brown (ankle), LB Tremaine Edmunds (heel), DT DaQuan Jones (veteran rest day) and CB Mitch Morse (elbow).

CB Cam Lewis was listed as a full participant with a forearm injury.
