The Jets added some veteran help at the cornerback position to their practice squad, signing Jimmy Moreland, per Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network.

Moreland was a seventh-round pick by Washington back in 2019 and spent last season with the Houston Texans.
In 37 career games (ten starts), Moreland recorded 88 total tackles, five passes defended and one interception.
The Jets also added punter Ty Long, formerly of the Los Angeles Chargers, to their practice squad Tuesday.
