Jets’ Mike White now too hurt to play after facing Bills

What a twist for Mike White and the #Jets:

Jets quarterback Mike White took a beating against the Bills in Week 14.

In the 20-12 win, the Bills (10-3) laid a lot of heavy hits on the QB. One in particular from Matt Milano sticks out.

Because of those shots, White left the contest twice. To his credit, he returned to action both times.

Days later, a twist.

White is now too injured to play in the Jets’ next game against the Lions. Because of that, Zach Wilson is back.

According to Jets Wire, Wilson will get the Week 15 start. Due to the loss to the Bills, the Jets fell out the AFC playoff race at 7-6, which means these are hugely important games for the team as well.

Over the past few weeks, White has started over Wilson. The second-year QB was benched on Nov. 24.

Reports indicate that White has a fractured rib. In fact, Jets head coach Robert Saleh said White might even miss the next two games.

Many already respected White’s toughness against the Bills. Now even more so.
