Jets’ Haason Reddick fires back at Bill Belichick after debut

Former NFL head coach Bill Belichick provided some analysis of the Patriots’ 25-22 win over the Jets in Week 8 earlier this week. Haason Reddick was not a fan.

The pass rusher made his debut with the Jets after ending his holdout. His name was brought up in Belichick’s breakdown of the contest.

Belichick did not only mention Reddick, but during his rundown he did mention his name.

“Reddick came into the game and just ran past the quarterback multiple times, whether it was [Drake] Maye or Jacoby, and created those scramble lanes that the Patriots took advantage of,” Belichick said.

Reddick took that personally.

The defender took to his social media account on Twitter/X after hearing was Belichick said about him during an appearance on the “Pat McAfee Show.” He decided to poke fun at the legendary coach and his current job status… which is Belichick being an analyst and no longer being a coach.
